The “Island of the Gods” did not impress Abu. As a devout Muslim he had little sympathy for a culture with countless demons and deities. And if that culture made indecent pictures, gambling and intoxicating drugs part of its religious rituals, it seemed to him utterly absurd. But his ship just stayed there for two days to take fresh water, so what?
One of the Balinese warriors had however found a liking in little Abu and on departure gave him a bag with strange leaves: Bali Kratom. Abu just stashed it away and forgot about it - he thought the Bali Kratom would be something like the Khat his tribes people were chewing at home to dream away their days in the Kratom Outlet.
But after another month at sea, boredom led to curiosity and curiosity led to temptation. Much to his surprise, these Bali Kratom leaves were not intoxicating. They were enchanting. The Bali Kratom took the boredom out of the endless horizon, out of the steady movements of the ship, even out of the never changing diet of fish and millet. The Bali Kratom gave pleasure and entertainment where there was none; it took away all the maladies of endless sea trips, and still left his thoughts untouched and clear as the waters of the Red Sea.
On the way back from the SPICE Islands Abu granted some favors to the Balinese warrior and came back home with nothing but some sacks of Bali Kratom. This Bali Kratom would change his life once and for all.
